Staff RN, Cardiac Cath Lab

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital. This on‑site position works 36‑hour weeks on a rotating shift schedule, supporting both inpatient and ambulatory cardiac patients.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for cardiac cath patients.
• Deliver safe, evidence‑based care in an ambulatory setting.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to ANA standards.
• Participate in on‑call rotations for weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Current Wisconsin RN license or multi‑state license in the Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Clinical competence in cardiac cath lab patient care.
• BSN preferred; non‑BSN RN must enroll in a BSN program within 15 months of hire.
• Must obtain BLS and ACLS certifications within 90 days of hire.
