Staff Program Manager – Military Aircraft Programs

About the role

Moog’s Military Aircraft Group is seeking a Staff Program Manager to lead one of its largest production programs, generating over $100 million in revenue. Based onsite in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure program success.

Key responsibilities

• Drive program success through collaboration with stakeholders across sites and functions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and manage all program activities.
• Apply program‑management principles to meet scope, schedule and budget objectives.
• Monitor and control cost and schedule performance, reporting status and variances.
• Coordinate all program elements, developing and maintaining budgets, plans and schedules for multiple initiatives.
• Travel up to 15 % to Moog facilities and customer sites.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum ten years of professional experience, with at least five years in program management or engineering.
• Proven ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience developing and communicating program budgets, plans and schedules.
• Strong understanding of contractual requirements and scope management.
• Ability to operate under pressure while handling multiple priorities.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
