Staff Program Manager

About the role

Moog is seeking a Staff Program Manager to lead commercial aftermarket programs for its Commercial Aircraft Group in East Aurora, Buffalo, NY. The role reports to the Director of Programs and requires a seasoned leader who can coordinate with customers, internal teams, and senior management to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and manage all program activities.
• Develop and maintain detailed program plans, schedules, and budgets for multiple initiatives.
• Communicate program status, risks, and issues to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support process improvements and standard work implementation within Program Management.
• Lead proposal teams and business capture campaigns to grow Moog’s aftermarket portfolio.
• Collaborate with OE Program Managers and other functional groups to optimize program success.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science degree with at least ten years of professional experience, preferably in aerospace or engineering.
• Minimum six years of program management experience in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and contractual scope.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, capable of influencing diverse teams.
• Ability to access U.S. export‑controlled information.
