Staff Pharmacist – Online Pharmacy Operations

About the role

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join its fast‑growing online pharmacy team. You will be directly involved in the end‑to‑end prescription fulfillment process, ensuring customers receive safe, accurate medications quickly and conveniently.

Key responsibilities

• Verify medication quality for all packet and bulk dispenses and perform thorough quality‑assurance checks before shift end.
• Collaborate with fellow pharmacists to ensure new business line productions meet quality standards.
• Handle ancillary pharmacy tasks such as checking returns, inputting medication rejects, overseeing substitutions, and approving canisters.
• Answer clinical questions, provide guidance, and investigate errors to facilitate proper resolution and reporting.
• Maintain and update customer profiles in PharmacyOS, process initial prescription orders, transfers, and new acquisitions.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, federal and state pharmacy laws, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions and lift up to 20 lb for warehouse duties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with PharmacyOS or similar pharmacy management systems.
