Staff Pharmacist

About the role

Amazon Pharmacy is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to join its fast‑growing online pharmacy operation in Daytona Beach, FL. The role combines hands‑on dispensing with end‑to‑end prescription fulfillment, ensuring customers receive safe, affordable medication quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense, verify, and pack medication orders for shipment.
• Manage prescription intake, verification, transfer coordination, and new prescription acquisition using PharmacyOS.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks on packet and bulk dispenses, collaborating with fellow pharmacists.
• Handle ancillary pharmacy tasks such as returns, medication rejects, substitutions, and canister approvals.
• Answer clinical questions, provide guidance, and investigate errors for proper resolution.
• Maintain compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations and company procedures.
• Update and maintain customer profiles within PharmacyOS.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science or PharmD degree.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment.
• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and federal/state regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions and lift up to 20 lb.

Required skills

• PharmacyOS (or similar pharmacy management system).
