Staff Internal Auditor

About the role

The Staff Internal Auditor will conduct financial and operational audits of our retail stores, working under the guidance of the auditor‑in‑charge. This role supports audit planning, execution, and reporting while helping identify process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform store and operational audits in line with audit programs under supervision.
• Obtain and analyze evidentiary data through interaction with auditees.
• Document procedures, findings, issues, and conclusions in work papers.
• Develop detailed process narratives and walkthroughs.
• Identify and recommend specific audit tests to the auditor‑in‑charge.
• Resolve routine audit issues with auditee staff.
• Assist external auditors with interim and year‑end procedures.
• Contribute to consulting projects and process‑efficiency recommendations.
• Maintain ownership of assigned tasks and keep supervisors informed of status.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management or a related field.
• CPA or CIA candidate preferred.
• 0‑2 years of prior audit experience preferred; recent graduates considered.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for in‑store audits.
• Full‑time availability (approximately 40‑45 hours per week).
