Staff DevOps Engineer

About the role

MEDvidi is an AI‑powered mental health platform that combines licensed providers with proprietary AI tools to deliver scalable psychiatric care. As a Staff DevOps Engineer you will define the future of the company’s infrastructure, own its reliability, cost, security, and developer experience, and work hand‑in‑hand with product teams to eliminate friction.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical vision and quarterly roadmap for infrastructure.
• Operate and evolve AWS + Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, including autoscaling with Karpenter and policy enforcement with Kyverno.
• Own Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CDK (TypeScript) and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Build and maintain observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, OpenSearch, CloudWatch) that are actively used by teams.
• Implement zero‑downtime blue‑green deployments, automated rollbacks, and PostgreSQL schema migrations.
• Lead security engineering in a HIPAA environment, handling secrets rotation, short‑lived credentials, leak scanning, and Vault as code.
• Partner with product engineers to improve developer experience and integrate agentic AI into workflows.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong systems fundamentals and solid Linux administration skills.
• Hands‑on experience delivering production‑grade cloud platforms at scale.
