Staff Attorney – Tenants' Rights

About the role

Join a community organization dedicated to providing legal services to low‑income residents. As a Staff Attorney on the tenants' rights team, you will gain meaningful litigation experience while working in a mission‑driven environment without billable‑hour pressure.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate directly with clients to understand and address their legal needs.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive motions, briefs, and other documents.
• Appear in court for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
• Manage cases, develop strategies, and coordinate with team members.

Required profile

• Admission to the Florida Bar (newly admitted candidates are encouraged to apply).
• 1–6 years of litigation experience (preferred but flexible).
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Creole.

Required skills

• Salary ranging from $75,000 to $84,000, determined by bar admission year.
