About the role

Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies are building the software foundation for next‑generation electric vehicles. As a Senior Software Engineer focused on infotainment, you will create mission‑critical in‑vehicle applications that deliver a seamless, immersive user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑quality, reliable infotainment applications for vehicle user interfaces.
• Collaborate with UX/UI and Studio teams to integrate 2D and 3D content into intuitive UI designs.
• Test applications in laboratory settings and on prototype vehicles, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Drive research into emerging technologies and contribute to cross‑division technology roadmaps.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of full‑life‑cycle software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with at least one of the following languages: C++, Rust, Java, or Kotlin.
