Sr Security Solutions Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Security Solutions Architect to lead technical pre‑sales activities for ePlus. Based in the Dallas/Houston area, you will partner with our sales teams and customers to design and deliver complex security solutions that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on security solutions to sales teams and customers.
• Deliver customer‑facing presentations and act as a trusted advisor.
• Author technical sections of RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and develop solution proposals.
• Design detailed solution architectures, bill‑of‑materials, and statements of work for multi‑vendor environments.
• Lead technical scoping sessions and act as the SME for implementation, configuration, and testing.
• Collaborate with OEM channel sales, technical teams, and internal architects.
• Mentor associate account managers on technical opportunity management.
• Maintain OEM certifications and stay current on product updates.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with extensive experience in security solution architecture and pre‑sales.
• Proven ability to build credibility with sales teams and customers.
• Strong communication skills for presentations and documentation.
• Track record of delivering complex, multi‑vendor security projects.
