About the role

Cogent Security is building an applied AI lab for cybersecurity and needs a senior leader to shape its organic social presence and community voice. As an early marketing hire, you will turn internal insights, research, and customer stories into compelling content that reaches enterprise audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Own and execute Cogent’s organic social strategy across LinkedIn and other platforms, creating a weekly cadence of product, research, and culture content.
• Ghostwrite for the CEO, CTO, and other leaders, building repeatable systems to capture raw material from interviews, Slack, and research briefs.
• Produce and edit short videos, motion‑lite explainers, quote cards, and carousel posts, leveraging AI tools to accelerate ideation and drafting.
• Manage selective influencer and creator collaborations, including podcasts, AMAs, and guest posts, to extend reach within enterprise security audiences.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years in social or content roles for B2B tech, preferably cybersecurity.
• Proven track record of growing organic presence and engagement with enterprise audiences.
• Excellent writing and editorial skills with the ability to craft a clear point of view.
• Strong production ability to create polished visual assets or manage contractors.
• Comfortable partnering with technical stakeholders to translate complex topics into compelling content.
