Sr. Manager, Construction

About the role

The Zaxby’s Support Center is seeking a Sr. Manager, Construction to lead its corporate construction program and strategic growth initiatives. This field‑based position, based in the Atlanta, GA area, requires extensive travel (up to 70%) and close collaboration with franchisees, architects, engineers, and vendors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the corporate construction program, including new builds, remodels, and franchise‑led projects.
• Oversee project timelines, budgets, and contractor performance to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery.
• Coordinate communications among general contractors, architects, designers, engineers, and internal leadership.
• Conduct site visits, plan reviews, and quality inspections to maintain brand and construction standards.
• Lead a team of External Construction Managers and mentor internal stakeholders.
• Track and report project milestones, budgets, and cost variances.
• Drive continuous value‑engineering efforts to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multi‑unit restaurant construction or similar QSR projects.
• Strong ability to multitask, solve problems, and lead complex initiatives with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work on‑site.

Required skills

• Proficiency with web‑based project management systems.
