Spending Manager – Global Services

About the role

Spending Manager, AGS serves as the global spending lead for Applied Global Services, overseeing forecast consolidation, spend performance analysis, planning processes and executive‑level insights across COS and OPEX. The role leads a team of analysts and partners, working closely with business leaders to drive financial rigor, improve visibility to risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead AGS spend forecasting across COS and OPEX, including consolidation, variance analysis and communication of key messages to leadership.
• Own planning processes tied to the Annual Operating Plan, such as Zero‑Based Budgeting and investment planning.
• Track projects linked to strategic initiatives, highlight risks, gaps and opportunities against AOP commitments.
• Monitor budget alignment, help stakeholders understand trade‑offs, risks and performance drivers.
• Prepare executive‑ready recommendations, reporting and updates on spend performance.
• Partner cross‑functionally to improve planning quality, forecasting accuracy and spend transparency.
• Drive process enhancements, including system solution implementation and reporting improvements.
• Lead and develop analysts, ensuring strong financial discipline and analytical quality.

Required profile

• Experience in spend management, procurement, sourcing, finance or FP&A roles.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret large data sets and turn analysis into business recommendations.
• Proven ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to business and finance leaders.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Data visualization and dashboard creation.
• Experience with analytics and reporting tools.

• Salary range $138,000 – $190,000 per year.
