About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Specialized Tax Services team, focusing on research and development (R&D) tax credits and complex accounting methods. You will advise clients on intricate tax regulations, help optimise their tax positions, and build strong professional relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide specialised tax advice on R&D tax credits, accounting methods and fixed‑assets.
  • Analyse complex tax regulations to develop optimal client strategies.
  • Collaborate with clients to navigate compliance and planning requirements.
  • Mentor junior team members and support their technical development.
  • Maintain professional standards in line with PwC tax and audit guidance.
  • Document tax strategies and client communications with clear technical writing.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant tax or finance experience.
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
