About the role

PwC is seeking a Manager to lead its Specialized Tax Services focused on Research & Development tax credits. In this role you will advise clients on complex tax matters, develop strategies to optimise their tax positions, and mentor junior staff while ensuring high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of tax strategies for R&D tax credit projects.
  • Manage client engagements, including planning, budgeting, and delivery of tax solutions.
  • Analyse intricate tax regulations to identify optimisation and compliance opportunities.
  • Coach and mentor team members, fostering skill development and performance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to maintain quality standards and project timelines.
  • Promote the use of technology and innovative approaches to improve service delivery.
  • Build and sustain strong client relationships to support ongoing advisory services.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Professional credential such as CPA, Bar membership, or other tax/finance qualification.
