Prep Academy Tutors is seeking a Special Education Teacher to provide personalized, in‑home tutoring aligned with the Florida curriculum. The role focuses on creating customized learning plans that help students truly understand material and succeed academically.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver academic support based on the Florida curriculum, adapting instruction to each student’s needs.
• Develop customized learning plans that emphasize comprehension over memorization.
• Provide remedial assistance and enrichment opportunities to address gaps and extend learning.
• Collaborate regularly with parents to communicate progress, challenges, and successes.

Required profile

• Current, valid registration with the Florida Department of Education or a qualified teacher in the United States (or in the process of certification).
• Experience or training in special education, or a teacher‑candidate pursuing a Bachelor of Education.
• Passion for student success, strong communication skills, and a commitment to professional excellence.
