About the role

Linwood School District is seeking a dedicated Spanish World Language Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction to secondary students in New Jersey. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering language proficiency and cultural awareness while adhering to state certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess Spanish language lessons for middle and high school classes.
• Develop curriculum materials aligned with NJ Department of Education standards.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• New Jersey DOE Spanish Certification #1550 (required).
• Eligibility through either Alternate Route or Traditional Route pathways.
• Valid teaching license for New Jersey.
• Commitment to inclusive education and student success.
