About the role

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and student needs.
• Utilize diverse teaching methodologies to support varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
• Incorporate relevant technology to differentiate instruction and enhance learning.
• Conduct tutoring sessions, home visits, and mentor student clubs.
• Manage classroom behavior with clear expectations and a consistent discipline system.
• Maintain accurate records, attendance, and required reports.
• Participate in department, school, district, and parent meetings, as well as staff development activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Harmony Public Schools.
• Ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
