Spanish-Speaking Psychiatrist, NP or PA-C Contractor (1099)

About the role

Lyra Clinical Associates, which partners with Lyra Health, a mental health care provider, is looking for a bilingual (Spanish) psychiatrist, prescribing nurse practitioner (PMHNP) or certified physician assistant (PA-C) to join its network as a 1099 contractor. The provider delivers virtual evaluations and medication management through live video appointments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based mental health medication management via a 60-minute intake appointment and regular 30-minute follow-ups
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, risk assessments and longitudinal medication treatment
• Build patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• Refer patients to therapy and coaching services alongside your care
• Deliver culturally responsive care to patients with diverse backgrounds and needs

Required profile

• Board-certified MD or DO in psychiatry, or a graduate of an accredited CCNE PMHNP program; or a graduate of an accredited ARC-PA program with PANCE certification, preferably with a psychiatry certificate or fellowship
• Unrestricted state license and at least 2 years of practice
• Strong preference for NPs and PA-Cs with an active DEA license
• Preference for NPs and PA-Cs with additional certification or experience with minors
• Must have office space in Conway, AR and be able to see clients in person
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
