Spanish Data Annotator – Part‑time Remote

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Spanish Data Annotator to join our machine‑learning team on a part‑time, remote basis. You will work with large training datasets, labeling text and audio content to help improve AI models. The position is a one‑year contract with the possibility of extension.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate Spanish and English text such as survey responses, social‑media posts, and conversational transcripts.
• Label and validate audio data, including checking automatic speech‑recognition outputs.
• Apply project‑specific annotation guidelines consistently and accurately.
• Review data for spelling, grammar, and overall language quality.
• Identify and flag personally identifiable information (PII) in the datasets.
• Participate in peer reviews, data evaluation, and ad‑hoc project tasks.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in Spanish and strong English proficiency.
• Experience handling large datasets and performing data‑entry tasks.
• Ability to work 20 hours per week during normal business hours.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Proficiency with basic computer functions and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel).
• Attention to detail and consistency in applying annotation guidelines.
