Sous Chef – Modern Spanish Tapas Restaurant

About the role

The Iberian Pig is a modern Spanish tapas restaurant serving creative, shareable dishes in a high‑energy, fast‑paced environment. As a Sous Chef you will oversee all kitchen operations, lead the culinary team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee kitchen stations, ensure they are set up, stocked and running smoothly for service, and work all stations including expo as needed.
• Assist with ordering, inventory control, scheduling and new menu rollouts while managing labor costs.
• Check deliveries, verify quality, store items properly and track inventory to reduce waste.
• Conduct interviews, make hiring decisions and train new team members on policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry with proven leadership as a Lead Line Cook, Sous Chef or equivalent in a fine‑dining setting.
• Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen operations, inventory and staff while maintaining high standards of professionalism and hospitality.
