Sourcing Specialist – Procurement & Contract Management

About the role

Sandvik Mining, Parts & Services is seeking a Sourcing Specialist to lead strategic and operational sourcing activities, contract management, and supplier negotiations. The role supports the delivery of value through analytical and commercial leadership while mentoring stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely execution of strategic and operational sourcing tasks.
• Lead development and management of multiple simultaneous supplier selection and negotiation processes, involving stakeholders in requirements, specifications, and evaluation.
• Support sourcing project outcomes using rigorous, systematic processes and manage project timelines, objectives, and team activities.
• Communicate progress to all stakeholders, keeping them informed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to peers on sourcing processes and day‑to‑day procurement activities.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in sourcing processes and contract management.
• Strong analytical and commercial leadership abilities.
• Ability to deliver timely guidance and mentorship to internal stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
