Sourcing Manager – Hybrid (Sausalito, CA)

About the role

Serena & Lily is looking for an experienced Sourcing Manager to join its hybrid team in Sausalito, CA. Reporting to the Director of Sourcing, you will own the end‑to‑end procurement process, collaborating closely with design, merchandising, planning and quality teams to deliver high‑quality products on time and within cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for domestic and overseas vendors, handling supplier identification, contract negotiation and relationship management.
• Optimize sourcing procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce lead times.
• Manage calendars and timelines with cross‑functional teams to ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Evaluate and expand the supplier portfolio to align with strategic growth goals.
• Partner with design during product development to select appropriate materials, finishes and vendors.
• Oversee sampling, cost analysis, and pre‑production activities such as quotes and packaging.
• Negotiate favorable costs and monitor vendor performance, providing feedback for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or product development within a consumer‑goods environment.
• Strong understanding of cost structures, quality standards, and lead‑time management.
• Ability to work collaboratively across design, merchandising, planning and logistics teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with both domestic and international suppliers.
