About the role

As a Sorter at RWB Thrift, you will be responsible for the initial processing of donated items. You will sort and categorize a wide variety of goods, ensuring they meet quality standards before they move on to other departments.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and categorize donated items according to established guidelines (clothing, textiles, accessories, household goods, electronics, etc.).
• Inspect items for quality, cleanliness, and suitability for sale.
• Prepare items for distribution to appropriate departments or processing areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of sorting workstations.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and keep workflow efficient.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist with additional tasks in sorting and processing areas as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sorting, warehouse, or retail environments is preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Team‑oriented mindset with good communication skills.
