Solutions Engineering Architect

About the role

The Solutions Engineering Architect will design and guide enterprise‑scale cloud solutions that drive digital transformation and business growth for a US‑based partner organization. You will work across architecture, engineering, security, and business teams to create scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and govern cloud‑native architectures across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains.
• Translate business objectives into scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions.
• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation initiatives.
• Establish architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.
• Evaluate cloud technologies and recommend solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Create architecture documentation, diagrams, and formal technical artifacts.
• Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering decisions across teams.
• Promote cloud cost transparency and optimization in collaboration with engineering and finance.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud architecture, or solution architecture roles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Strong technical breadth, architectural judgment, and ability to communicate with both technical and executive audiences.

Required skills

• Design of cloud‑native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
• Containerization and serverless architectures.
• Managed cloud services and cloud cost optimization.
• Security, networking, and data architecture concepts.
