Solutions Engineer

About the role

As a Solutions Engineer at Column, you’ll partner with tech‑forward companies to build financial products and solutions using Column’s APIs. This cross‑functional position works closely with engineering, business, operations, legal, and compliance teams to support customer implementations and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the technical relationship with customers across pre‑sales, implementation, onboarding, and support.
• Assist with the implementation and delivery of strategic cross‑functional projects under senior guidance.
• Leverage AI to build internal tooling and processes that address operational bottlenecks.
• Collect and organize product feedback, identify gaps, and help write product requirement documents.
• Manage roadmap expectations with the engineering team and customers.
• Perform day‑to‑day activities consistent with safe and sound business practices and regulatory requirements.
• Identify, assess, and manage risk by adhering to bank policies and reporting issues.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of Column’s platform and APIs to serve as a trusted technical partner.
• Ability to work collaboratively across engineering, business, legal, and compliance functions.
