Solutions Architect III

About the role

The Solutions Architect III will design and support technical solutions that meet business needs and align with MAPFRE’s strategic goals. This role translates requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable architectures while guiding development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive technical solutions that address business challenges and align with organizational objectives.
• Create architecture designs, system diagrams, and technical documentation outlining structure, components, and integration points.
• Select appropriate technology stacks based on performance, scalability, cost‑effectiveness, and project constraints.
• Provide technical guidance and direction to development teams during implementation.
• Communicate solution designs and impacts clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks such as scalability issues, security vulnerabilities, and integration challenges.
• Perform performance analysis on implemented solutions and recommend optimisations.
• Document best practices and share knowledge across the team.
• Oversee the solution lifecycle, including implementation, maintenance, and enhancements, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders and development teams.
• Experience guiding and mentoring technical teams throughout project phases.
• Analytical mindset to identify risks and optimise solution performance.
• Familiarity with enterprise standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
