Solution Engineer – Japanese Market (Sunnyvale)

About the role

We are seeking a Solution Engineer to support our Japanese market customers, helping them solve complex technical challenges with Applied Intuition’s Vehicle Intelligence products. The role blends software expertise, domain knowledge, and an execution‑focused mindset to drive successful SDV and AD/ADAS initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with Japan‑based accounts, acting as the technical bridge between customers and Applied engineering teams.
• Support Vehicle OS and self‑driving system projects for major OEMs, translating customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, demos, and proof‑of‑concept projects during early deployments.
• Track project milestones, organize technical meetings, and ensure high‑impact customer engagements progress smoothly.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers.
• Strong attention to detail and an execution‑focused mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for solving customer problems.
• Experience interacting directly with customers and a desire to grow technical and engineering expertise.
