Software Integration Test Engineer – SCADA

About the role

ETAP is looking for a Software Integration Test Engineer focused on SCADA systems. The role ensures seamless interoperability between ETAP’s electrical digital twin platform and third‑party SCADA and Energy Management Systems, using REST APIs, OPC UA, and automated telemetry mapping.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans for integrations with third‑party SCADA/Energy Management Systems.
• Validate REST‑API based exchange of electrical network models and configuration data.
• Test OPC UA communications, real‑time data acquisition, and end‑to‑end system interoperability.
• Collaborate with external software teams to troubleshoot interface issues.
• Document defects, reproduce customer issues, and support validation through product releases.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience testing software integrations, industrial software, or enterprise applications.
• Basic understanding of electrical power systems, one‑line diagrams, and common equipment.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
