Software Engineering Manager – Systems Infrastructure

About the role

LinkedIn is seeking a senior Software Engineering Manager to lead the Systems Infrastructure and Development Infrastructure initiatives within the Quality Platforms team. You will drive strategic investments that improve the developer experience, deliver reliable and scalable infrastructure, and shape the tooling ecosystem used by thousands of engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship large‑scale software that directly impacts LinkedIn developers.
• Improve developer experience using a data‑driven mindset.
• Design and implement tools, frameworks, and automation for development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and data analysis.
• Provide thought leadership and evangelize solutions that increase developer happiness, productivity, and efficiency.
• Scale infrastructure and tooling to support 6,000+ engineers working on shared codebases and continuous delivery pipelines.
• Engage with the broader developer community and contribute to open‑source projects.
