Software Engineering Manager – AI Growth

About the role

Sanity.io is building an AI‑powered Content Operating System that lets teams model, create, and automate content. As the Software Engineering Manager for AI Growth you will lead a team that builds native integrations, improves the MCP server, and creates agentic builders that let anyone set up Sanity via natural language.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers, prioritize impact, and support career growth.
• Own strategy, roadmap, and execution in partnership with product and design.
• Drive growth metrics such as activation rates, sign‑ups from integrations, and developer adoption.
• Ship fast, run experiments, and iterate based on data.
• Build AI developer tools, MCP integrations, and platform partnerships.
• Set technical direction across TypeScript, React, Node.js, and Go microservices.

Required profile

• Based in Remote US or San Francisco/Bay Area; able to work on‑site at least two days per week if local.
• 1+ years of engineering management experience, preferably in growth‑focused environments.
• Strong full‑stack background with hands‑on ability to review code and guide architecture.
• Active user of MCP servers and AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, and v0.
• Experience running A/B tests, optimizing funnels, and making data‑informed decisions.
• Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills and comfort with ambiguity.
