About the role

Rendezvous Robotics is developing modular spacecraft that self‑assemble in orbit. As a Software Engineering Intern for the Spring 2027 term, you will join a small, multidisciplinary team in Golden, CO, and contribute to flight‑software and ground‑station tools that enable these next‑generation spacecraft.

Key responsibilities

• Write and test flight software for the onboard compute platform.
• Develop ground‑station tools for telemetry visualization and command sequencing.
• Design and maintain communication protocols that adapt to changing spacecraft assemblies.
• Create simulation environments to validate new logic before hardware integration.
• Collaborate with the electrical team to debug issues spanning software and hardware.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in C/C++ and Python.
• Knowledge of basic networking and distributed‑systems concepts.
• Experience with embedded Linux or bare‑metal firmware development.
