Software Engineer - Solana

About the role

Rain is building the next generation of global payments and needs a talented engineer to design, develop, and maintain Solana programs and the backend services that connect them to EVM and Stellar networks. You will work on a high‑throughput platform that powers crypto‑backed card products used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve Solana smart contracts from development through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Build robust, scalable backend services that interact with Solana, EVM, and Stellar networks.
• Scale on‑chain infrastructure to support millions of users, handling transaction processing, data ingestion, and real‑time analytics.
• Shape the technical and product roadmap by driving architectural decisions.
• Ship new capabilities quickly and iteratively to customers.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in the Solana ecosystem, including its programming model and tooling.
• Strong proficiency in Rust.
• Solid understanding of smart‑contract security patterns and common vulnerabilities.
• Experience with Node.js and backend system development.
• 2–10+ years of engineering experience.
