Software Engineer (SME)

About the role

Cintel is looking for an experienced Software Engineer (SME) to lead the design, development, testing, and management of application projects that support its IT infrastructure. The role blends system integration, custom software creation, and automation to deliver scalable, secure solutions for data processing and advanced analytics.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and manage application projects that enhance IT infrastructure.
• Integrate third‑party components and build custom software capabilities.
• Refactor existing code, recommend process improvements, and automate operations.
• Collaborate with lead architects to design, build, and deploy applications.
• Support advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and data‑intensive computational solutions.
• Participate in all SDLC phases, from planning to quality assurance.
• Conduct technical milestone reviews, architecture sessions, and resource estimations.
• Share best‑practice knowledge and mentor team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of software engineering, application development, and systems integration experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and experience in fast‑paced, collaborative environments.
