Software Engineer – Scalable, Testable Code for AI Security

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Adaptive’s early engineering team. You will develop high‑quality, scalable and testable software that powers our AI‑driven cybersecurity platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable, testable and intuitive code that is easy for new team members to ramp up on.
• Identify incremental and scalable solutions to complex business problems in distributed environments.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to share knowledge, improve system design and foster a culture of learning.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience building customer‑facing software.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Strong development experience with modern, strongly‑typed languages such as Java, C#, TypeScript or Go.
• Proficiency with SQL databases and relational schema design, with an eye toward performance and scalability.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as SpringBoot and React/Redux is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise and well‑documented code.
• Experience deploying software in distributed environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
