About the role

Join Sierra’s Public Sector team to design and build production‑grade AI agents that help federal and state government institutions serve citizens more effectively. You will work directly with public servants, shaping the future of AI‑driven public services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build production‑grade AI agents for federal and state government institutions.
• Partner closely with industry leadership to shape the public‑sector team, market strategy and product components.
• Collaborate with government institutions to understand urgent needs and identify novel impact opportunities.
• Guide the evolution of Sierra’s core platform by surfacing unmet needs, prototyping tools and working with research, product and engineering teams.

Required profile

• Full‑stack software development experience and familiarity with AI development processes.
• Passion for public‑sector work and belief in the transformative potential of government institutions.
• Comfort working directly with customers and public servants to understand workflows and solve real‑world problems.
