Software Engineer – Power Platform (M365 Solutions)

About the role

We are expanding our M365 Solutions Team to design, build, and support enterprise‑grade applications across the CGI Federal M365 ecosystem. The role focuses on delivering advanced Power Platform solutions that enable internal teams and business partners to work smarter, faster, and more securely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy canvas and model‑driven Power Apps using best practices, solution layering, and ALM pipelines.
• Act as a Dataverse and Dynamics 365 subject‑matter expert, handling schema design, plug‑ins, Power Fx scripting, and complex automations.
• Build, optimize, and maintain enterprise workflows with Power Automate, including premium connectors.
• Provide advanced SharePoint Online support – list architecture, permissions, site administration, and Power Platform integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex M365 issues submitted through the ISIT Helpdesk, performing root‑cause analysis and preventive solutions.
• Support migrations, solution upgrades, and enterprise transformations using M365 tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to gather requirements, document designs, and define future‑state architectures.
• Contribute to governance, environment strategy, data policies, and platform security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• 4+ years of hands‑on development in Power Apps (canvas & model‑driven).
• 3+ years with Dataverse or Dynamics 365, including tables, relationships, business rules, plug‑ins, and Power Fx.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Automate, premium connectors, and enterprise workflow design.
• Deep experience configuring SharePoint Online, including lists, libraries, permissions, and site collections.
• Proven ability to design scalable, secure, maintainable enterprise solutions.
