Software Engineer - Over-the-Air Updates

About the role

As a Software Engineer focused on Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates, you will design and build the next generation of remote update systems that deliver firmware, applications, and configuration changes to large fleets of connected devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable OTA platforms using modern cloud‑native architecture.
• Architect secure update delivery pipelines with cryptographic signing, encrypted communications, and authentication.
• Build and maintain cloud‑based infrastructure leveraging distributed systems, containerization (Docker) and orchestration frameworks.
• Create robust package management solutions for versioning, dependency handling, and distribution across diverse device ecosystems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliability, low latency, and high‑volume distribution of software packages.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience in C++ and Go.
• Hands‑on experience building cloud‑native, distributed systems.
• Familiarity with container technologies (Docker) and orchestration tools.
• Understanding of security principles for OTA updates, including cryptographic signing and secure communication.
