Software Engineer, New Grad

About the role

As a Software Engineer, New Grad at Notion you will join a fast‑growing product team that builds the core experiences of a collaborative AI workspace. You will work full‑time on features that millions of users interact with, gaining ownership of projects from concept through launch and iteration.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain new product features end‑to‑end, including research, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Improve performance, reliability, and polish of existing features such as spell‑checking synchronization and search indexing.
• Develop internal tools that increase team productivity, for example scripts to import user feedback.
• Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and data engineers to align technical decisions with product vision.

Required profile

• Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Available to start full‑time before July 27, 2026.
• Previous internship experience in software development.
• Impact‑driven mindset, focusing on solving real user problems.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one of the following programming languages: TypeScript, Node.js, Python.
• Familiarity with modern development tools and AI‑assisted coding environments.
