Software Engineer, New Grad (AI)

About the role

As a New Grad AI Engineer at Notion, you will help shape AI‑powered features that enhance the core user experience. You will work closely with product, design, and data teams to prototype, ship, and evaluate intelligent capabilities across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with your team to prototype and ship AI‑driven product improvements.
• Own a scoped productionisation project, integrating new models or techniques, adding monitoring, guardrails, and improving latency, cost, or reliability.
• Develop and run evaluation frameworks, conduct experiments, analyse results, and translate findings into product or system enhancements.

Required profile

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Available to start full‑time before July 27, 2026.
• Previous internship experience in software development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Typescript, React, or Python.
