Software Engineer (Multiple Levels)

About the role

Forage is building a modern payments stack that enables grocery retailers and delivery platforms to accept SNAP EBT payments online and in‑store. As a Software Engineer you will help create reliable, scalable systems that directly impact millions of families relying on food assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy features across the full product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Solutions Engineering, and fellow engineers to deliver high‑quality solutions.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and architecture decisions.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong fundamentals in system design, testing, debugging, and cloud services (preferably AWS).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
