Software Engineer - Middleware

About the role

Applied Intuition is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to develop core middleware components for its software‑defined vehicle platform. You will work on high‑performance communication and system management services that enable advanced vehicle functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement platform services in C++ with a focus on multi‑threading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Develop and extend communication middleware using protocols such as SOME/IP, DDS, and optionally Protobuf/gRPC.
• Work within AUTOSAR Adaptive Platform functional clusters, including Adaptive Core, Communication Management, Execution Management, and State Management.
• Apply networking expertise and Ethernet stack knowledge to ensure reliable, high‑throughput data exchange.
• Contribute to system management functions such as health management and diagnostics within the SDV architecture.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience shipping complex production software, preferably in embedded, automotive, or robotics domains.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in C++ with solid understanding of multi‑threading, mutexes, and design patterns.
