Software Engineer

About the role

Farsight is building an agentic AI platform for financial services, integrating advanced LLM capabilities directly into PowerPoint, Excel and Word. As a Software Engineer you will help design and implement complex AI‑driven systems that automate nuanced financial workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end technical solutions for agentic AI workflows, including streaming outputs and LLM orchestration.
• Translate business requirements and customer feedback into reliable, production‑ready features.
• Maintain and improve existing codebase, handling bug fixes and long‑term enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure enterprise‑grade accuracy and scalability.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience (non‑internship).
• Hands‑on experience shipping LLM‑powered features to real users and managing non‑deterministic model behavior in production.
• Ability to anticipate failure modes, edge cases and scalability concerns before coding.
• Comfort making architectural decisions with incomplete information and iterating based on feedback.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• Cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Experience with production AI/LLM systems.

• Salary range $120,000–$170,000 (USD) based on experience.
