Software Engineer

About the role

Petra Labs is building the attribution and experimentation layer for AI search. As a Software Engineer you will own the full product lifecycle, turning ambiguous AI‑search challenges into measurable, scalable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and build product end‑to‑end, owning the full lifecycle from concept to deployment.
• Understand user needs, iterate quickly, and scale software with extreme ownership.
• Tackle ambiguous, unsolved problems in AI‑driven search by designing and running experiments.
• Design and implement large‑scale systems, data models, and supporting infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering real products and owning substantial technical components.
• Ability to decompose large, ambiguous problems into actionable tasks.
• Strong fundamentals in system design and database architecture, with good judgment on when to move fast versus build for scale.
