About the role
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join its Consumer & Community Banking agile team. You will help design, develop, and maintain secure, stable, and scalable software components that power the firm’s cutting‑edge technology products.
Key responsibilities
- Write secure, high‑quality code in Java (or another language) with limited guidance.
- Design, develop, and troubleshoot components while considering upstream and downstream system impacts.
- Apply SDLC tools and automation to improve development efficiency.
- Analyze large data sets to identify issues and support decision‑making for stable application delivery.
- Contribute to a diverse, inclusive team culture.
Required profile
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
- 3+ years of hands‑on experience in application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and JavaScript technologies.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security practices.
