Software Engineer II Senior (E2) – Semiconductor Software

About the role

The Software Engineer II Senior (E2) designs, develops, tests, and supports software solutions for semiconductor products and platforms. Working within an Agile environment, the role collaborates closely with hardware, validation, quality, and product management teams to deliver reliable, high‑quality software.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, test, and maintain software components for semiconductor products, platforms, tools, or embedded systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including hardware engineering, validation, quality, product management, and operations to ensure successful product and software delivery.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable code, support code reviews, unit and integration testing, and resolve defects.
• Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand‑ups, retrospectives, and release planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience developing software in a semiconductor, embedded, firmware, or platform environment.
• Working knowledge of software design, debugging, testing practices and Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and business stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
