Software Engineer II – Raleigh

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Raleigh team. In this role you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of software components within a specific product line, leveraging both traditional and AI‑assisted development workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Write and review detailed specifications for moderately complex system components.
• Perform simple bug fixes and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with product and development teams to translate requirements into software designs.
• Operate in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments while engaging key stakeholders.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
• Utilize AI‑assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini) to accelerate coding, testing, and debugging.
• Apply AI‑first development workflows, validating generated code for quality, security, and maintainability.
• Continuously learn and adopt new AI development tools and practices.

Required profile

• 1+ years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Basic knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

What we offer

• U.S. national base pay range: $71,600 – $119,400 per year.
