Software Engineer II – DevOps (Azure)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join LexisNexis Risk Solutions’ Business Services team. In this role you will design, build and maintain cloud‑native DevOps pipelines and infrastructure, supporting our risk‑assessment platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible or ARM templates.
• Manage and optimize Azure cloud resources including VMs, AKS, App Services and networking.
• Deploy and operate containerized applications with Docker, Kubernetes and Helm charts.
• Monitor system performance using Prometheus, Grafana and Azure Monitor.
• Integrate security best practices into DevOps workflows (DevSecOps).
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline releases and improve deployment efficiency.
• Participate in on‑call rotations for production support and incident resolution.
• Document processes, configurations and troubleshooting guides.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem‑solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.

Required skills

• Azure DevOps Services and Azure cloud platform.
• CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible.
• Container technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.
• Version control: advanced Git branching strategies.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Monitoring tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor.

• Base salary range $65,100 – $108,500 per year.
