Software Engineer – Full‑Stack (VueJS/Django)

About the role

OctusOctus is looking for a motivated full‑stack Software Engineer to join its DataOps Engineering team. You will help build, ship, maintain and support internal, data‑intensive web applications that enable analysts to ingest and work with critical credit market data.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy VueJS front‑end components and Django‑Python back‑end services.
• Maintain and enhance existing internal applications built with VueJS and Django.
• Improve test coverage and ensure high quality across all code bases.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to turn Figma mock‑ups into functional interfaces.
• Work with devops, QA, and data‑science teams to integrate data pipelines, models, and APIs into the platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in application development and deployment.
• Proven expertise with VueJS and Django‑Python frameworks.
• Experience with relational databases; PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Familiarity with caching solutions such as Redis (optional).
• Understanding of DevOps practices, agile methodologies, AWS, and REST APIs.
