Software Engineer - Full-Stack

About the role

Riley is looking for an early engineering hire to join the core team and work directly with the co‑founders. You will help shape the product roadmap, influence critical technical decisions, and ship features that enable organizations to turn data into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build end‑to‑end user experiences for a collaborative product‑insights platform, including automated data synthesis and workflow tools.
• Translate complex machine‑learning outputs into intuitive, visually appealing interfaces for users of diverse backgrounds.
• Develop and scale rich, interactive components that deliver high performance and a delightful user experience.
• Maintain application uptime, monitor performance, and enforce high standards for code quality and architecture.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to lead zero‑to‑one product initiatives.
• Strong enthusiasm for deep browser mechanics and building performant front‑ends.
• Experience deploying scalable applications on AWS using Python and Django for the backend and React for the front‑end.
• Deep understanding of web infrastructure and a strategic mindset aligning engineering work with business goals.
